The longest Varsity winning streak in program history — an 8-0 start to the season — ended with loss to the host Knights. The Mustangs fell behind 8-3 by half and could never really close the gap at Tustin High’s field. Record: 8-1.

Note: Varsity scored its 100th goal of the year vs. Foothill in the Mustangs’ 9th game of this season. It took 13 games in 2008 and 18 games in 2007 to reach the same mark.
